According to Bloomberg, US President-elect Donald Trump met with Kris Marszalek, CEO of cryptocurrency exchange Cryptocom, in Florida. Bloomberg cited a person familiar with the meeting who asked not to be identified, who said Trump and Marszalek discussed appointments related to the cryptocurrency industry, including for the finance departments, Congress and the new administration. The source, who reported that the Bitcoin (BTC) reserve was also discussed at the meeting, said the exchange said, “We look forward to working with the new administration to develop and advance clear regulations for the cryptocurrency industry so that the US can become a global leader in digital assets and innovation.” Marszalek's meeting with Trump comes after Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong's phone call with Trump last month, with more names from the cryptocurrency industry expected to meet with Trump. As is known, in October this year, Cryptocom received a Wells Notice from the SEC and the exchange subsequently filed a lawsuit against the SEC. Related News: JUST IN!
