Meanwhile, Litecoin (LTC) and Hedera (HBAR) have never been labeled securities by the SEC, which could make their approval smoother. Although the SEC may become more open to crypto products, investor demand remains uncertain for recently filed ETF products. Balchunas stresses that Litecoin’s path to a spot ETF looks clearer than XRP’s.
