An Illinois district court judge has ruled in favor of the United States Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) in a crypto Ponzi scheme case, declaring two lesser-known altcoins as commodities. The scheme involved Sam Ikkurty from Oregon and several of his companies.
